Technical appraisal of vane pump after serious damage

After the oil pump is damaged, first check the appearance, internal and related phenomena. When the following conditions occur, the corresponding causes can be determined:


1. bearing damage: when the pump core is seriously damaged and damaged in many places, any bearing damage shall be regarded as caused by improper installation. (because the bearing is damaged first, when the bearing is damaged, the shaft will move, telling that other parts will be damaged under swing.)


2. the inner tank is rusty. When the pump core is seriously damaged in many places, as long as there is rust. The list is considered to be caused by water in the oil (because rust will never occur when the oil is normal)


3. poor oil quality: when the pump core is seriously damaged, as long as there is dirt, foreign matter in the oil or the oil has turned black. It shall be deemed as the result of dirty oil and poor oil quality.


4. pump shaft fracture: try to check the fracture position. If the material or heat treatment is not good, the damage point should be the weakest link at that time, that is, the minimum diameter or spline. If the fracture is not at the weakest point, it should be regarded as improper installation and too large coaxiality deviation.


5. when checking the materials, the composition, metallographic structure, hardness, etc. of the materials should be checked. Colleagues should also analyze the sequence and causal relationship of the damaged parts, and finally find out the cause.


The following items are quality problems in product manufacturing:


1. High noise: as long as other causes are eliminated, it should be a quality problem.


2. Part scratch: the scratch of rotor and side plate is relatively symmetrical, and the diagonal scratch should be a quality problem.


3. Shaft fracture: when the shaft is broken at the weakest place and other parts are in good condition, it is the quality problem of the shaft.


4. Rotor fracture: other parts are not broken, only the rotor is broken, which is a quality problem.


5. Blade breakage: other parts are not broken, only blade fragments, which is a quality problem.
